Description

The contractor shall perform the following specific tasks for the Seattle and Magnolia VAMC: �Conduct comprehensive quarterly and annual inspections of all backflow preventionassemblies. �Certify each backflow prevention assembly in accordance with the latest publishedstandards. �Provide documentation and maintain certification records in compliance with theAmerican Backflow Preventer Association. �Maintain, clean, and service backflow prevention assemblies as needed. �Ensure all inspectors have received certification equivalent to the field test procedures inthe Manual of Cross-Connection Control, Tenth Edition. �Submit proof of required licenses and personnel qualifications to the Contracting Officerprior to contract award. �Inspect, test, repair, and provide preventive maintenance for up to 213 backflowprevention assemblies. �Perform all work in compliance with NFPA 13, 17, NFPA 25, ASME, ANSI, ASSE,ABPA, UPC, and other applicable Federal Regulations. �Provide inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services by master plumbers,certified inspectors, testers, and mechanics qualified for backflow prevention assemblywork. �Submit all required documentation and maintain necessary licenses and personnelqualifications in compliance with Washington State regulations.
