Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Mexico City will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov website when it is available. The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has a requirement for a professional contractor to perform activities related professional services of a company for the management of waste at three different locations within�CDMX. The selected contractor will be fully responsible for performing all the necessary work and properly collection, disposal of the waste produced by three separate facilities within CDMX. They must demonstrate comprehensive understanding and efficiency in all types of waste as organic and inorganic waste, recyclables, and package trash, construction demolition debris etc. Work to be performed: Solid wastes shall be collected with sufficient frequency to prevent attraction or mutiplication of vermin and other pests: Service I: Waste collection services are to be performed five times per week at the first location (Monday to Friday); located in Colonia Cuauhtemoc, Mexico City. This service must be schedule from 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm. The service must be performed at the rear of the building. Service II: Waste collection services are to be performed three times per week at the second location (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday); from 09:30 am to 11:00 am.� The service must be performed in the front of the building, Colonia Veronica Anzures, Mexico City. Total amount of solid waste collection: approx. 5 m3 of solid waste per service at week Service III: Waste collection services are to be performed once per week at the third location (Wednesday); from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Col. Juarez Mexico City. This service must be the service has to be performed in the back part of the building. Total amount of solid waste collection: approx. 3 m3 of solid waste per service at week.� Service IV: For the Chancery removal and proper disposal of industrial, construction and demolition debris. Fifteen (15) services per year. For each service, vendor must furnish a container of at least 3m3. This service will be scheduled as per COR call. Sorting waste collection: sort waste into appropriate categories for efficient recycling processes, as we have already contracted another vendor for the recycling service. Containers: Containers of sufficient size and quantity to hold the various types of waste in between collections. All containers will need to be provided and maintained by the contractor. A complete solicitation package with more detail including time frames, specifications, site visit information, and proposals deadline will be posted in the near future. The performance period of this contract shall be from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed letter and continuing for 12 months, with a (2) two-year option to renew, totalling a possible three (3) years. Individual task orders shall be issued for stated services within the rates designated. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. All contractors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.� At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal: Be able to understand written and spoken English; Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing; Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work; Have all licenses and permits required by local law; Meet all local insurance requirements; Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution; Have no adverse criminal record; Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States; Have good experience and past performance records; and, Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work in accordance with this solicitation. All contractors are to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov� prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
