Description
This is an Amendment to the Pre-solicitation Notice ID 19TC1024R0005.� The purpose of this amendment is to change the Notice ID from�19TC1024R0005 to 19TC1025R0002. DESCRIPTION: Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.� The requirement is to obtain janitorial services for real property owned by the U.S. Government at the U.S. Embassy, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.� The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to hallways, offices, restrooms, work-areas, entrance ways, cafeteria, visitor lobbies, storage areas, elevators, stairways, utility service room areas and exterior guard / police booths.� Estimated total of the floor area for performance of the cleaning services is: 14,670 square meters. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with four one-year options.� All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The Embassy of the United States in the United Arab Emirates will launch the solicitation on the https://www.sam.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four, one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government.� All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. � The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.� The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.� The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed price contract. � The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102, all offerors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov when submitting a proposal. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register in SAM in advance to the�submittal of proposals.
