- CONTINUATION PAGE SOLICITATION 36C25025R00001 TELERADIOLOGY PHYSICIAN SERVICES Amendment 0001 Questions and Answers 1 Is there a need for a commercial reporting solution? Yes. Vendor will need a reporting solution that can receive HL7 messages from the VANEOHS and electronically provide a report back to the VANEOHS through HL7. Per part 3.4.4.1 and 4.5.1.3 of the solicitation No transcription services will be provided by the VHA. 2 Is there a need for a peer review solution? No. Per VHA Directives 1100.21 documentation of contract radiologists should include results of peer reviews, Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation ( OPPE). This is an aspect of performance monitoring under 4.7.1 of the solicitation. Vendor will need to provide peer review data manually that complies with VHA Directives if not using a peer review solution. 3 Is there a need for an analytics solution? No. But vendor should have a documented methodology for how studies will be distributed and read per the performance monitoring outlined in the PWS. They should have a means whether through an analytics solution or manually to provide peer review and other performance monitoring metrics required in part 4.6.5 of the solicitation. 4 Does the Contractor/PACS provider need to provide WAN connection? No. The VA OIT WAN manager provides the connection as outlined in the solicitation under 4.6.3.1, Network connection with VISN 10 facilities shall be provided via a Site-to-Site Virtual Private Network connected through a VA gateway that is MPLS capable and can be expected to transmit at least 10 GB of patient images daily. This connection will be configured and maintained by the VAO IT WAN Manager or their designee. No GFE will be provided other than equipment necessary to make this connection. The vendor is responsible for submitting all required documents and processes for approval of WAN connection by VA OIT as outlined in the System Requirements section of the solicitation in Part 4.6.3.
