- Description
- Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Knox, on behalf of United States Army Human Resources Command (USAHRC), intends to award a contract to Charter Communications Operating LLC (Spectrum), 1750 Tysons Boulevard, STE 1500 � Spectrum/ charter Mclean, Virgina 22102. on a single source basis. The period of performance is 30 September 2024, through 29 September 2025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517111 Wired Telecommunications Carriers (Except Satellite), with a size standard in number of employees of 1,500. A determination not to compete this proposed contract was made pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) � �Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.� This notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. MICC Knox intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to: Charter Communications Operating LLC(Spectrum), 1750 Tysons Boulevard, STE 1500 � Spectrum/ charter Mclean, Virgina 22102. SAM Unique Entity ID: MX16CA896HK5, by end of September 2024. USAHRC requires commercial high-speed internet service to 3 separate demarcation points (1600 Spearhead Div Ave (Maude Complex), 2290 Eisenhower Ave BLDG 6905, 204 1st Cavalry Regiment Road Building 1002) and cable TV service to twenty (20) designated office locations within the Maude complex, and 5 static IPs for the Maude Complex. Requirements includes support such as If technical issues occur with service and/or hardware, ensure repairs are completed within 24-48 hours unless the facility is closed for an extended period for holidays or unidentified disasters. The contracting officer has determined this procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures; only one source is reasonably available. The Government intends to use FAR Part 13 to purchase the above listed item. The Contracting Officer (KO) determines that the anticipated price is fair and reasonable based on market research. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses by email at joseph.r.lawrence3.civ@army.mil and anthony.h.johnson.civ@army.mil are received by 4:00 pm Eastern (Fort Knox local time) on 19 September 2024, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Please note the Contractor needs to be 889 compliant as per FAR Clause 52.204-25.
