Description

Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) NNSY intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract as an Other Than Full and Open purchase, to be sole sourced to E. H. Wachs for the purchase of seven (7) custom designed omega seal cutting machines and 280 chip-less cutting wheels.� The contractor shall provide the cutting machines and cutting wheels as required by the government specifications. This requirement will be solicited as unrestricted and will be sole sourced to E. H. Wachs (Division of) Illinois Tool Works in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 � Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.� No other manufacturer will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332216 with a small business standard of 750 employees. �Requests for Quote (RFQ) will be available for download on or about 16 September 2024 at https://www.sam.gov �under RFQ number N4215824QE062. �The RFQ and subsequent amendments to the RFQ will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web site. This office no longer issues hard copy RFQs.
