Notice of Intent to Sole Source THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference#: HT941024N0158. Defense Health Agency, Western Markets Contracting Division intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government�s needs, to: ALLELE DIAGNOSTICS, INC. 120 N Pine St., Suite 152 Spokane, WA 99202, United States Requirement is for the Microarray test at Naval Medical Center Laboratory Department and its affiliated Branch Medical Clinics (BMCs) located in San Diego. The Microarray test is a genetic testing process that analyzes a person's DNA to look for chromosomal imbalances in infants and children. These tests allow for information as to present or future problems a child may experience due to missing sections in their DNA. The timeline for the results for this test is very import as it will help treat patients the soonest possible. POP: 1 Oct 2024 thru 30 Sep 2025 Unit of Issue: Job CLIN 1001: Rapid Microarray (CGH and SNP) Test Services at Naval Medical Center San Diego. POP: 1 Oct 2025 thru 30 Sep 2026 Unit of Issue: Job CLIN 2001: Rapid Microarray (CGH and SNP) Test Services at Naval Medical Center San Diego. POP: 1 Oct 2026 thru 30 Sep 2027 Unit of Issue: Job CLIN 3001: Rapid Microarray (CGH and SNP) Test Services at Naval Medical Center San Diego. POP: 1 Oct 2027 thru 30 Sep 2028 Unit of Issue: Job CLIN 4001: Rapid Microarray (CGH and SNP) Test Services at Naval Medical Center San Diego. POP: 1 Oct 2028 thru 30 Sep 2029 Unit of Issue: Job Allele Diagnostics is the only vendor who provides this microarray testing service with a 24-48 turnaround result time required at Naval Medical Center San Diego CA 92134. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work and can provide valid capability to provide required services validated by ALLELE DIAGNOSTICS, INC.. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point.� All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
