- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT for Water s Technology - Drug Toxicology Testing, Brand-Name or Equal DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, VISN 23 Source Sought: The VA is seeking business sources qualified to provide some, or all, of the items listed below as Brand Name or Equal. This is NOT a solicitation. This is for Market Research purposes only. INTERESTED SOURCES SHALL RESPOND BY: Please submit response no later than 10:00am CST Friday September 13, 2024 All responses and questions must be emailed to Amanda.Patterson-Elliott@va.gov and must include in the subject line: Sources Sought Water s Drug Testing 36C26324Q1144 POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address. 2. State if your firm distributes the Brand Name items, or Equal items. 3. SAM UEI number. 4. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code that your firm uses for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. 5. State if your firm is a large business, small business, service-disabled-veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, HUB zone 8(a), women-owned small business or a small disadvantaged business. 6. State if your firm has the required items on Schedule (FSS, GSA, SEWP, other ). 7. Provide a letter from the manufacturer verifying your firm is an authorized distributor. 8. Provide the country of origin for each of the required items. Validation for testing on the Water s instruments takes several months to years to complete due to the complexity. For consistency in test method development and performance, the same supply source must be used. If changes are made to these supplies, validation portions would need to have repeat performance. It is not in the best interest of the Government for testing operation to use any other supply that Water s.
