Description

This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Part 12.� The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial waste removal and recycling services at three National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facilities located in Cincinnati, Ohio.� The RFQ is expected to be released mid-September 2024.� The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a base option period (12-months/1-year) and four (12-month/1-year) option periods.� The period of performance will be: Base Period: 11/03/2024 through 11/02/2025 Option 1: 11/03/2025 through 11/02/2026 Option 2: 11/03/2026 through 11/02/2027 Option 3: 11/03/2027 through 11/02/2028 Option 4: 11/03/2028 through 11/02/2029 Specific locations and additional scope of work details are included in the attached Statement of Work. The Government anticipates that this will be a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562111, Solid Waste Collection, and small business size standard of $47 million.� Interested offerors are invited to submit their small business size status to the email address listed below.
