Description

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101 requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. The U.S. Peace Corps intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Colonial Parking, Inc., 1050 Thomas Jefferson St. NW, Suite 100, Washington DC 20007, for Peace Corps Headquarters on-site parking reserved and unreserved spaces located at 1275 First Street, NE, Washington, DC for Peace Corps employees working onsite The period of performance for this effort will be a base year, and four 12-months option periods. The procurement will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.501, Soliciting from a sole source, and using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR Part 13. The Peace Corps anticipates the award of firm-fixed price purchase order.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812930 � Parking Lots and Garages. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.� Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Peace Corps.
