************The purpose of solicitation amendment 005 is to: 1) Extend the proposal due date from 12 SEP 2024 to 19 SEP 2024; 2) Included questions 087-097 on Attachment 13-Government Responses to Industry Questions_Updated 26AUG24; 3) Update SOW paragraph 5.1 and 6.1_5September 2024; 4) Include Attachment 14 - SAIDIQ Ordering Guide 20240828; 5) Updated Section 00 21 013 - Instructions to Bidders. �All other items and conditions remain unchanged. ***********�The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to: Extend the proposal due date from 05 SEP 2024 to 12 SEP 2024.******* ************The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to: 1) Extend the proposal due date from 23 AUG 2024 to 05 SEP 2024. 2) Respond to questions from industry and complete, update the CLIN structure, SOW, list of attachments, etc., and other administrative actions. All other items and conditions remain unchanged.************* Background and Purpose: The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) provides support to the Fort Irwin, California (CA) Garrison Command and its major tenant organizations, which together currently utilize approximately 1648 buildings and structures consisting of approximately 8.9 million square feet on the installation. U.S. Army Garrison Fort Irwin, CA, provides training for Combat Support (CS) and CombatService Support (CSS) units in the Western United States. Fort Irwin comprises more than 763,474 acres of un-encroached mountains. valleys, and plains. There are several major military tenant organizations at Fort Irwin: the Operations Group; the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment: The Joint Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Defeat Organization and the 916th Support Brigade. The customer for this acquisition is the U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) in support of the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Ft. Irwin.
