Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2024-05, effective May 22, 2024. The U.S. Embassy located in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Full Size SUV.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All the terms and conditions, provisions, and clauses in the RFQ # 19BX6024Q0010 (attached) apply to this solicitation. Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov �prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror�s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement. Instructions on how to apply for a UEI number and register in SAM are available at www.SAM.gov The Offeror shall enter, in the block with its name and address on the cover page of its offer, the annotation ""Unique Entity Identifier"" followed by the unique entity identifier that identifies the Offeror's name and address exactly as stated in the offer.� See www.sam.gov for establishing a unique entity identifier for your organization. Proposals from companies without a UEI number will be considered technically unacceptable. Delivery:� See Section 1. - THE SCHEDULE of the 19BX6024Q0010 RFQ This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03, published May 30, 2024; and the Department of State Acquisition Regulation (DOSAR). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote, conforming to the solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate all timely quotes received from eligible vendors on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. The Government intends to evaluate quotations and award a contract without discussions with quoters. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary. Quote packages are due by 12:00 PM, Brunei time September 23, 2024. Late quotes will not be considered.� Please fill in clauses in Section 5 of the RFQ as they apply to your business. Quote packages shall be sent to the General Services Office and may be delivered to the American Embassy, Simpang 336-52-16-9, Jalan Duta, Bandar Seri Begawan or emailed to BoonAC@state.gov. For hand deliveries, please contact Lys Boon at +673-2387471 for acceptance of quotation at the Embassy. Please include a cover sheet that provides the following information: 1.
