Classification NAICS Code: 315000, 313000, 313310, 31320, 313240, 314999 Description Soldier Thermal Infrared Signature Management Industry Day � September 23, 2024 The Product Manager for Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM SCIE) is committed to supporting Soldiers in all Operational Environments and improving their survivability, protection, mobility, and sustainability by providing safe, agile, adaptive, durable and operationally effective organizational clothing and individual equipment. To support this mission, PdM SCIE will host an Industry Day focused on Soldier signature management. The intent of this event is to connect with potential partners from small and large businesses; communicate results from our recent Soldier Enhancement Project, which was focused on evaluating commercial solutions for Soldier thermal Signature management; and communicate PdM SCIE�s intent for future development of these capabilities on behalf of the Army. When: September 23, 2024 (Monday), 8:00 AM � 12:00 PM Where: Embassy Suites, 8100 Loisdale Road, Spring field, VA, 22150 The event will feature presentations given by LTC Austin Banford, the Product Manager of SCIE, followed by subject matter experts (SMEs) reviewing results and conclusions from the Soldier Enhancement Project.� Presentations will also address opportunities for integration into current Soldier equipment and future requirements in the areas of Camouflage, Concealment and Deception. Following the presentations, participants will have opportunities to meet one-on-one with PdM SCIE SMEs. All briefings and one-on-one discussions will be conducted at the unclassified level. Notes: This is an in-person event, and there is no charge for attendance. Registration:�To attend, you must register no later than 16 September, 2024.� Register by email to nathan.g.heslink.civ@army.mil.� Registration e-mails must include the company name, cage code, primary company point of contact with e-mail address and phone number, full names of all company attendees (not to exceed four representatives per company), and whether the company desires a one-on-one meeting with Government SMEs.� There will not be on-site registration. Depending on Industry interest, the Government may reduce the maximum number of attendees per company.� If necessary, this will be communicated via amendment to this announcement, and registered companies will be notified via e-mail. Security Procedures: Industry Day participants will be asked to present valid photo identification to confirm identity.� Valid photo identifications include Real ID and Enhanced Drivers Licenses, U.S. passport, U.S. passport card, U.S. permanent resident card, Personal Identification Verification (PIV) card, Common Access Card (CAC), and foreign government-issued passport. Federal employees should bring either a PIV card or CAC. One-on-one meeting:�Prospective participants can request a one-on-one meeting following the presentations to discuss company-specific products and data. Requests for one-on-one meetings must be included in the registration emails. Companies may complete the attached quad chart as a read ahead for their one-on-one session and provide via e-mail to nathan.g.heslink.civ@army,mil. ��The one-on-one meetings will be limited to 15 minutes.� Once the available one-on-one meeting slots are filled, PdM SCIE will coordinate with the company point of contact to schedule a 15 minute video teleconference via Microsoft Teams at a date and time that works for both the participant and PdM SCIE.� Confirmations for one-on-one meetings will be sent by e-mail no later than 18 September, 2024. It does not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This Industry Day Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service, whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not seeking proposals, and no contracts will be awarded during the Industry Day or as a result of the Industry Day activities. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Industry Day Notice. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts. All costs associated with responding to this Industry Day Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense.
