One complete system/unit is required, including necessary software for processing scans. B. Product Specifications 3D Laser Scanner: o System Compatibility Must be mountable on the Freefly Astro system and include appropriate mounting hardware. o Laser range at least 200m o Accuracy and precision at least 4cm/3.5cm, respectively. o Scanning angular FOV at least 70 x 4. o At least 3 returns per shot compatibility o Data acquisition/scanning rate >250,000 points/second. o Scanning frequency up to 10Hz o System weight (without battery) less than 2.5 lbs. o Must include camera module for point cloud colorization. o Must be GNSS-enabled (i.e. not a SLAM system) Data Processing & Analysis Software: o Ability to reprocess and/or edit or modify 3D point cloud data, perform strip adjustment, and classify and colorize point clouds. o Ability to automatically register and merge data from multiple flights. o .LAS (.LAZ), minimal default output file formats. o Base license should be perpetual. Additional System Requirements: o The instrument must successfully operate in temperatures up to 40 C/104 F. o Instrument and associated add-ons must be able to work offline in remote, backcountry settings for extended periods. o Software must be available in stand-alone, desktop version for working offline in remote, backcountry settings for extended periods.
