Description: Amendment 2 The NPS amends this solicitation and provides responses to questions received. In addition, the NPS amends this solicitation to do the following: In the Inside Cover, updates the �Proposals Due� date to September 23, 2024 In the Business Opportunity: Updates Exhibit 12. Revenues, 2019-2023, Exhibit 13. Franchise Fees Paid, 2019-2023, Exhibit 14. Projected Revenue by Department and Exhibit 15. Estimated Initial Investment (2025), Revises the Leasehold Surrender Interest part of the Investment and Operations Analysis section In the Proposal Instructions, updates Part 6(c) and Part 8 In the Proposal Package, adds a PSF2(d) for shuttle service and adds shuttle service information to PSF3(a) In the Contract, adds clarifying language to Section 8(e)(3) Personal Property Improvement Program (PPIP) In the Operating Plan, Removes Section 9(a) Maintenance and Renewal in regard to intellectual property Revises language in Section 10(d) Shuttle Service In the Maintenance Plan: Adds a paragraph to Section 2(C) Concessioner Responsibilities regarding emergent projects, Revises work orders listed in Part I. Work Order Supplement In the Proposal Package Excel Forms, in the Cash Flow Statement Assumptions worksheet adds rows to allow offerors to enter Financing Activities assumptions In Appendix D Existing Concessioner Personal Property List, updates the list of current personal property of the incumbent concessioner. Please note also, the following: Due to technical difficulties outside of IR2/NPS control, the Business Opportunity, the Operating Plan, Appendix D and GRSM002-25 Amendment 2 are not 508 compliant. Amendment 2 will be available at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. _____________________ Amendment 1 The NPS amends this solicitation to do the following: Appendix G 2023 Black Bear Management Plan was removed from the listing of prospectus appendices. The plan is now listed as �Available Upon Request.� Amendment 1 will be available at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. _____________________ The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a prospectus for the solicitation of offers for a 10-year concession contract to provide for Lodging, Food and Beverage, and Retail at LeConte Lodge within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All offers must be received by the NPS by the date listed on the inside front cover of the prospectus which is September 5, 2024 no later than 4:00 p.m. in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a concession contract. The prospectus describes the business opportunity and includes the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract. Questions are due July 18, 2024, and Notification of Intent to Propose must be received by August 20, 2024, via email by the National Park Service no later than 2:00 P.M. ET on the due dates listed on the cover page which is to William Gordon, Jr., Commercial Services Specialist, at william_gordon@nps.gov The website below includes a number of helpful links and information including tips for submitting a competitive proposal that addresses due diligence, proposal content, and the presentation of your proposal.� This presentation can be found at:� www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm Proposals to include the original signed transmittal letters must be received via the process explained in the Proposal Instructions no later than 2:00 pm ET on the due which is September 5, 2024, to National Park Service, Concessions Office, 100 Alabama Street, N.W., Bldg 1924, 6th Floor, Mailroom, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. Please note that the original signed transmittal letters must be mailed. The remaining portion of the proposal will only be accepted electronically via the process explained in the Proposal Instructions.
