Who is the incumbent? The previous awarded contract number is 36C25020C0038. No further information will be provided as this is public information. What was the previous pricing? The previous awarded contract number is 36C25020C0038. No further information will be provided as this is public information. Is this the same scope as the previous contract? Yes. What percentage of Building #1 is accessible for service on the weekends? 100% Will window unit air conditioners be removed and reinstalled by facility maintenance, left in place and worked around, or will contractor be expected to remove and reinstall? If window unit has A/C installed contractor will work around unit and clean windows that are accessible. Some of the exterior photos make the windows appear that they may have storm windows on them on building one. Please confirm whether or not they have storm windows. Some windows in building 1 (approximately 50), as well as all the windows in buildings 2,3 & 4, have storm windows. These specific windows can be cleaned from interior, all sides. Would an alternate date range be considered (specifically between July 1st -August 31st), provided that there would be a discount applied for non peak cleaning? No. Are the canteen awnings, all surfaces, outside and underside, to include support structures intended to be power washed for cleaning? The wording on this implies that they may be materials other than glass. Yes, there are materials other than glass, as per the Statement of Work requirements. The awnings are made of a vinyl fabric, typical exterior awning material. Cleaning options for materials that are not glass would be up to the contractor. Power washing would be one way to clean. Can a water fed pole system be used for exterior windows or only traditional methods? If it meets the Statement of Work requirements and can thoroughly clean and dry, and does not create any run-off, it would be acceptable Approximately how many windows have screens? Approximately 160 Does the term ""awnings"" apply to only entrances or all awnings above the sidewalks? Only at the entrance. This requirement does not involve the sidewalk structures. Are ground level windows on interior side accessible from the floor or is a ladder required? Main entrance windows will require a ladder to clean interior glass, as well as several stairwell windows. 97% of interior windows are approximately 8 feet high to the top of glass. It would depend on the height of the person cleaning. At 6 feet tall, I can reach, but for example, someone 5 6 in height might require a step stool or ladder. Are the Bosun chairs and harnesses already onsite or are these the contractors responsibility to provide? This will be the contractor s responsibility to provide. Are there jib cranes/lifts for Bosun style already installed on roof tops? No. Are there any customer safety policies that supercede OSHA requirements in regards to number of spotters required for each industrial man lift operation? No. Annual: Is this generally carried out monday-friday after hours or weekend labor? Work performed on building 1 was/is performed on weekends currently. After hours is acceptable as well for this work. The remainder of the facility would be accessible during business hours. Is a site visit being offered? As stated in the RFQ, no site visit is being offered. I was wondering if there were any photos of the building/windows. The only photos available are appended to this document.
