- Description
- The Government is seeking additional market research information from Industry to help determine the Small Business Participation Goals for the upcoming Solicitation described below. The Government requests that contractors fill out the attached Contractor Response Form for Small Business Participation Goals and return via email to Contract Specialist Aaron Jones, aaron.g.jones@usace.army.mil and Contracting Officer Leigha Arnold, leigha.m.arnold@usace.army.mil by August 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM EST. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District, will be issuing a solicitation for Construction Management Support (CMS) Services for the Bureau of Printing and Engraving (BEP) new Currency Production Facility (CPF), Beltsville, MD.� The proposed procurement is anticipated to be competed utilizing full and open competition, as a firm-fixed price contract utilizing FAR Part 15 - contracting by negotiation, under NAICS Code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construstion, with a size standard of $45,000,000.00. Project Description:� The purpose of this requirement is to provide CMS services to support the construction of the BEP new CPF building. The work includes field level CMS services to provide Quality Assurance (QA) oversight/inspection and contract administration activities. Due to the size and complexity of the project, the Government expects to have multiple discipline specific QA teams. During the peak placement of construction, it is anticipated that a range of 20 to 30 technicians, inspectors, and/or tradesman would be needed on-site daily for CMS services.
