Description

This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24224B0048, Project Number 561A4-21-101 Replace RF Unit at the VA New Jersey Health Care System, Lyons Campus, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, New Jersey 07939. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $45 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: Contractor shall completely prepare site for replacement of an existing RF Unit in Bldg. 1, Room 48 and the addition of a control room to the space at the Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey Healthcare System as required by drawings and specifications. Work will be located on the ground floor of this building. ITEM I, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required general construction work on this project including but not limited to; demolition of existing architectural items, new walls, new floor, new ceilings, new finishes, temporary facilities and any other addition/demolition alterations necessary for a complete and operable system. ITEM II, MECHANICAL: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required mechanical construction work on this project including but not limited to; demolition of existing HVAC and hydronic systems, new constant volume air terminal units, new ductwork, new hydronic piping, new controls, new pressure monitoring equipment and any other addition/demolition alterations necessary for a complete and operable system. ITEM III, PLUMBING: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required plumbing construction work on this project including but not limited to; demolition of existing plumbing fixtures, demolition of domestic/sanitary/venting/medical gas/RO piping, new domestic/sanitary/venting/medical gas/RO piping, new plumbing fixtures and any other addition/demolition alterations necessary for a complete and operable system. D. ITEM IV, FIRE PROTECTION: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required fire protection construction work on this project including but not limited to; demolition or relocation of existing sprinkler heads, new sprinkler heads, new fire protection piping and any other addition/demolition alterations necessary for a complete and operable system. E. ITEM IV, ELECTRICAL AND FIRE ALARM: Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required electrical and fire alarm construction work on this project including but not limited to; demolition of existing power and lighting systems, new power circuits, new lighting fixtures, relocation of existing fire alarm equipment, new fire alarm devices and any other addition/demolition alterations necessary for a complete and operable system. Project Completion: 180 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about September 4, 2024. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be e-mailed. Only e-mailed bids will be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet) and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in www.veterans.certify.sba.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
