Description
National Historic Landmark Update - Pierre Menard House, MWRO The purpose of this modification (0002) is to provide questions and answers asked thus far. Q1: Are Past Performance Questionnaires (PPQ) mandatory? A1: If completed PPQ's are not possible, provide contact information for the Previous Experience projects submitted for Factor I, Subfactor 3 so the government may confirm satisfactory performance. Q2: Will the contractor have access to out-of-print theme studies? A2: The theme studies that were considered out-of-print are generally categorized as such as more recent and relevant scholarship has been done that makes them obsolete. Rather than relying on outdated NHL theme studies, offerors should focus on current scholarship on the topics being examined. That being said, there are two out-of-print theme studies that would relate to the Pierre Menard House; ""19th-Century American Architecture, 1784 - 1880"" and ""Westward Expansion and Extension of the National Boundaries to the Pacific, 1830 - 1898: The Fur Trade."" We have been unable to locate a copy of the 19th Century Architecture theme study, but the Fur Trade theme study is available as a pdf and will be provided to the awardee should they wish to look it over. We'll continue to look for a copy of the 19th Century Architecture theme study and will provide it, if found, to the awardee. However, offerors should submit quote packages as if that theme study will not be available. Reminder that all amendments must be acknowledged by the solicitation close date and time.
