Description

Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for multiple equipment items: CR-4KR Solid State Media Cracker, 974-0000 EA 1 DB-4000 Destruction Device, 120V 970-0000 EA 1 HD-5T Degausser, 120V 954-0000 EA 1 The Government is contemplating a sole source award to Data Security Inc (Cage code: 0B8L1) �for brand name products identified above, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Proposed contract action will be an order for the identified items and quantities and not to exceed $250,000. Contract is planned to be awarded by 15 September 2024. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 8 � Required Sources of Supplies and Services.� The sole source justification will be posted under this synopsis after award.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334111, and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees.� This synopsis shall not be construed as an RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
