- This is a sources sought announcement in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition, and to identify potential sources that can provide the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Adapter Set, Aircraft NSN: 4920-01-470-4110P/N: 7-562100011-601QUANTITY: 2This sources sought announcement is for W58RGZ-24-R-0129, Adapter Set, Aircraft for the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer this part. Currently the known approved sources for this item is The Boeing Company (CAGE Code 8V613). This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This is a source sought notice. No contract award will result from this Sources Sought notice, and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses to this source sought notice will be used by the Government in making an appropriate acquisition decision. The Government does NOT own the technical data package (TDP) for this action. The TDP is held by The Boeing Company. Interested offerors responding to this notice must be able to demonstrate that they have access to the TDP or how the requirements can be accomplished without having this data available and without incurring significant additional costs.SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested businesses should email your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Nicole Riffe in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email to Nicole.r.riffe.civ@army.mil no later than the provided response date as referenced on https://sam.gov and PIEE Solicitations. All submissions shall reference your organizations name and ?W58RGZ-24-R-0129? in the subject line of the e-mail and on all enclosed documents. Information and materials submitted in response to this request will not be returned. Do not submit Classified Material. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide the required products/systems, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, Unique Entity ID, primary points of contact (POCs) and their email address, Web site address, telephone number, and type of ownership including any socioeconomic certification for the organization; 2) A brief statement confirming that you have access to the TDP or how the requirements can be accomplished without having this data available and without incurring significant additional costs. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.
