- CODE 230.2 COMBINED SYNOPSIS & SOLICITATION Pursuant to the authority at FAR 12.603(c)(2): (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number for this is N0018924Q0497 and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). � (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-08 � (iv) The Government intends firm-fixed-price (FFP) task order services. The associated NAICS code is 561920 with a small business size standard of $20,000,000. � (v) Line items are detailed as follows: LINE ITEM:� 0001 DESCRIPTION:� Contract Support for a Special Events Co EXTENDED DESCRIPTION:�This requirement is to obtain one FTE for one year to act as Special Events Coordinator. The incumbent plans all aspects of the museum�s events, lectures, and ceremonies. Employee meets with event participants, answers inquiries, and conducts set-up for events at the museum, Nauticus, or other off-site locations. Serves as the POC and coordinator for military ceremonies aboard the battleship Wisconsin. Military Ceremonies Coordination and Scheduling (40%). Oversees all aspects of active and reserve duty military ceremonies occurring in the museum gallery and aboard the battleship Wisconsin to include retirements, promotions, commissioning, reenlistments, award presentations, and chief petty officer pinning ceremonies. Special Event Coordination and Scheduling (40%). Communicates with speakers, participants, HRNM staff, and facilities representatives, works with caterers, and manages logistics for events both on and off site. 2.3 Educational Programming (20%). Provides naval history and heritage programming to Sailors and the general public in the form of museum gallery tours and classroom presentations. Researches and writes educational content for museum print and virtual publications. Delivers educational programming to students in grades K-12 based on Virginia Standards of Learning. Serves as museum duty manager on an as-needed basis. Performs other duties as assigned. QTY:� 12 UNIT OF ISSUE: Month � (vi) This requirement is for Event Coordinator Services in support of Naval History and Heritage Command (NNHC). � (vii) The required Period of Performance (POP) is:� 09/06/2024 through 09/05/2025. The PLACE OF PERFORMANCE is: �Hampton Roads Naval Museum, 1 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA FOB Destination will be used.� � (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial applies to this acquisition and is included in the attached ""Clauses and Provisions"", Attachment 1. � (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items �will be used and is included as Attachment 1. The vendor�s proposed price will be evaluated on the basis of price reasonableness in accordance with FAR 13.106. � (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3 � ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items ,applies to this acquisition and must be completed with any quote. It is included as Attachment 1. � (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and is included as Attachment 1. � (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and all the applicable FAR clauses cited with this requirement are included as Attachment 1. � (xiii) All clauses and provisions applicable to this requirement are included in the attached ""Clauses and Provisions"", Attachment 1.� �Clauses and Provisions to be signed�, Attachment 2, shall be signed and returned with the vendor�s quote.� � (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating does not apply to this acquisition. (xv) All quotes are due by the date and time specified in this posting and shall be submitted via email to the POC email address stated in this posting. (xvi) The individual to contact for information regarding this solicitation is stated in the posting. ?
