- Intent to Sole Source Adacel Air Traffic Control Student Trainers The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Adacel Systems Inc for Air Traffic Control (ATC) training system for the 352d Special Warfare Training Squadron (SWTS). required items/services to be purchased are: The MaxSim Lab Student Trainer for the training and testing of 352d SWTS students. -MaxSim Lab Student Trainer ����������� -One PC, four monitors, two headsets ����������� -MaxSim ATC Training Software ����������� -Lexix Speech Recognition ����������� -Table and displays mounting brackets ����������� -KMIL and TNCA Visual Databases ����������� -Training Scenarios ����������� -Shipping to Site ����������� -One year of hardware warranty -KMIL VDB With Landing Zone -Installation for quantity up to 5 units -One time configuration, testing, and documentation -Five Years of help desk support -Visual database compatibility and enhancements APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:� The trainers need to match the exact Lexis VRR programming and system students train on to ensure student train on the system used to ensure they are qualified. Additionally, The systems need to be stand alone and require no internet connection so training can be accomplished anywhere. The items above are the only known items which are fully compatible with the two existing TSS trainers. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 16 August 2024 at 10:00 A.M EST.
