THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. �This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. �All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.�� As part of its market research, the 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS) is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing solutions to meet the requirement. �The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. � The Air Force is seeking companies that have the capability to provide a Fire Truck Repair Service. The contractor shall provide all management, parts, tools, equipment, supplies, technical data, and labor necessary to complete repairs on a Pierce Firetruck (P-22); registration number 14L00096. Work consists of removing old engine assembly, remove serviceable accessories, and set aside. Install remanufactured engine assembly. Install serviceable accessories on replacement engine. Replace any non-serviceable accessories. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and parts at the vendors repair facility. The contractor shall provide all applicable warranty information for refurbished parts/equipment. Please see attached Statement of Work for a detailed description of work, deliverables, and general information. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the 1 SOCONS�s market research. �No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which 1 SOCONS can issue any contract. �This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. �The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked ""Proprietary"" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government reserves the right to ask follow-up clarifying questions to individual companies based on proprietary information submitted without posting those questions. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. �Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. 1 SOCONS will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice in writing including details of your company�s ability to perform the Repair of P-22 Fire Truck service.� Additionally, please provide the following information: � Company Name and Address Cage Code DUNs Number Company business size by NAICS code Small Business Type(s), if applicable Point of Contact for questions and/or clarifications Telephone Number and email address Web Page URL (if applicable) Teaming Partners (if applicable) Provide any recommendations and/or concerns.
