Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source, Fixed Price contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE 16331) in Orlando, FL for the procurement of 72 custom developed Personal Atlas Workstation Software (PAWS) TYX 1.40.03 software licenses and installs on electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS) stations and Test Program Set Development environment (TPSDe) systems. The procurement will allow for custom eCASS certified version of the software for installation on eCASS stations and TPSDe systems on the production line.�� The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" Lockheed Martin maintains the current, latest version used for eCASS, certifying no TPS compatibility issues or field issues. Custom PAWS/TYX licenses can only be used on one station/system and are not transferable or portable to other systems. Lockheed Martin is the only entity able to ensure the current, latest version is developed to mitigate any potential compatibility issues or field issues. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Responses stating interest must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.
