- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Fleet Directorate, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order for servicing, calibrating, and repairing equipment for the Moving Vessel Profile (MVP) and a Sea Surface Sound Velocimeter (SSSV) systems, support services. The current contract N6230619D0005 was awarded as an IDIQ type contract as a sole sourced award to AML Oceanographic. The estimated period of performance is 30 September 2024 through and including 29 September 2025, with four option years. It is intended to purchase this follow on utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 27 August 2024. This notice is a Sources Sought Notice in accordance with PGI 206-302-1. However, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to courtney.p.dunlow.civ@us.navy.mil to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete this requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to make a determination that an equivalent supply/service exists that would meet the Governments needs stated herein. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government
