- This announcement is to post the solicitation (see attached documents) concurrent with this synopsis (combined synopsis / solicitation) for the procurement of up to two existing Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) and their conversion to training support vessel(s), hereafter referred to as the Pacific Training Support Vessel, ?P-TSV? under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The Contractor will be responsible for following their standardized manufacturing processes to procure, develop, test, and deliver end items to the Government in accordance with the provisions of the resulting contract including attachments, revisions, and modifications thereto. The solicitation includes the OSV with Conversion, Delivery, Technical Data Package, Installation of Deck Crane, JP-5 Fuel System, and potential order of spares and changes. The solicitation shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award any contract. This is not a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this solicitation, and the information contained herein is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract. Any updates and/or changes for this procurement and future amendments to the RFP, will appear on SAM.gov. Please send inquiries via e-mail only, no telephone inquiries will be accepted. The contracting agency is: Naval Sea Systems Command, 1333 Isaac Hull Ave SE, Washington Navy Yard, DC. 20379-2020.The Government does not commit to providing a response to any comment or questions, and any subsequent revision to the RFP based on comments received remains solely at the Government?s sole discretion. No comments, questions, or inquiries shall be made to any Government person other than the point of contact identified in the synopsis or the Contracting Officer.
