- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Building Repair Construction requirement at Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park in Dayton, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to; Remove and replace all damaged wood from the store front on the north side of the building. Remove all store front existing window film on the north and west sides and replace it with new sunshade blocking film including two new windows. Reconstruct the wooden features, including indentation decorations, and damaged millwork. Reinstall wooden features and paint to match the existing. Replace approx. 30' of 4"" copper corrugated downspout from the gutter to the inlet. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424Q0077 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by September 2024 with performance to begin in September 2024. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Montgomery County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236220, and the size standard is $45 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available early August 2024 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
