- The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Andersonville National Historic Site (ANDE) has a requirement for the following project; Repair Drainage and Grading Andersonville National Cemetery for the Andersonville National Historic Site (ANDE). This procurement is being set aside for Small Business, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). If your company is interested, submit your detailed capabilities in writing to demonstrate the same or similar experience to this project. This is not a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation to bid. No proposal package, solicitation, specification, or drawings are available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Pre-Solicitation announcement, or any follow-up information requests. If you choose to submit a package, clearly identify the park and project on your package (Andersonville National Historic Site (ANDE) � Repair Drainage and Grading Andersonville National Cemetery and identify your socio-economic status; Small Business, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). Your response is due no later than 1700hrs/5:00 pm Eastern Time on 21 August 2024. The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set-aside or full and open competition. All firms should be registered and certified in the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, in order to participate in this requirement. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database. This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. Place of Performance: Andersonville National Historic Site (ANDE), Andersonville National Cemetery Place of Performance Address: 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, GA 31711 Project: Repair Drainage and Grading Andersonville National Cemetery NAICS Code: 238910; Site Preparation Contractors PSC Code: Y1PZ; Construction of other Non-Building Facilities Estimated Cost Range: This project�s magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 Estimated Period of Performance: 21 October 2024 to 20 October 2025 Project Description (Scope); The primary objective of the project is to Repair Drainage and Grading Andersonville National Cemetery at Andersonville National Historic Site, Andersonville National Cemetery. The work includes regrading of the Andersonville National Cemetery and incidental related work, but not limited to installing and maintaining all erosion and sediment control measures per the permit requirements, removal and stockpiling of existing topsoil, placing topsoil over regarded area, installing sod on entire project area, and removing temporary erosion and sediment control measures once no longer necessary. The purpose of this requirement to, provide burial space for our nation�s veterans and their families, provide for staff safety by reducing slopes, maintain the natural contour of the topography and cultural landscape, and Improve drainage. This requirement involves performing work as defined in the Specification and Drawings that will be provided when the solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation and other attachments as required. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued. The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) and its attachments will be issued electronically. Anticipated publish date: On or about 22 August 2024. The solicitation documents will be posted to SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. Site Visit; Only one site visit will be offered for this opportunity, and the information shall be listed in the formal solicitation when it is published to SAM.gov.
