The National Institutes of Health, Office of Research Services, Office of Information (ORS), and Innovation Technology, has a need for a HCL-Lifecycle maintenance agreement for a fixed price to include a base year plus four option years. The HCL Lifecycle is needed to strengthen OIITs patch management by further automating patch deployment, ensuring endpoint security against vulnerabilities and facilitating the entire application lifecycle, from deployment to retirement, fostering consistency and compliance and reducing costs by tracking and managing software and hardware assets effectively. Proposed Contractors unique qualifications: The HCL-Lifecycle feature set is unique, and our market research found that no other application can provide the same capabilities and features, in addition, as mandated by NIH, all NIH ICs must use HCL Lifecycle to report on security compliance controls including but not limited to the following: Patch Management: HCL-Lifecycle enhances BigFix's patch management capabilities by providing additional features for managing software updates and patches across endpoints. It helps OIIT automate the process of patch deployment, ensuring that endpoints are up-to-date and protected against vulnerabilities. Application Lifecycle Management: HCL-Lifecycle extends BigFix's application management capabilities by offering features for managing the entire lifecycle of applications, including deployment, configuration, updates, and retirement. It helps streamline application management tasks and ensures consistency and compliance across endpoints. Software Distribution: The LCM module augments BigFix's software distribution capabilities by providing additional functionality for distributing software packages and updates to endpoints. It helps automate software deployment tasks, reduce manual effort, and ensure that software is installed correctly and consistently on all endpoints. Inventory and Asset Management: HCL-Lifecycle enhances BigFix's inventory and asset management capabilities by providing additional features for tracking and managing software and hardware assets across the organization. It helps organizations gain visibility into their IT assets, optimize asset utilization, and reduce costs.
