- FCC Allenwood hereby issues solicitation 15B20124Q00000012 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled�USP Allenwood Elevator Repair�at USP Allenwood, located in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. USP Allenwood is a Federal Penitentiary� located at Route 15, 2 Miles N of Allenwood, Allenwood, PA 17810.� The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope of work attached to this solicitation.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 238290. Any contractor interest in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after, August 1, 2024, with a due date of August 14, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through sam.gov website. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Any and all questions concerning this solicitation will need to be submitted in writing to Garrett Moser, Contract Specialist at gmoser@bop.gov. This requirement is a Firmed-Fixed-Price contract. The Government will award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and are considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price.� The Best Value Determination method will be used to make award for this requirement. FAR defines �Best value� as the expected outcome of an acquisition that, in the Government�s estimation, provides the greatest overall benefit in response to the requirement.
