- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations. USFWS Division of IRTM intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 8,405-6(a)(1)(B) Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized to: CLOUDSHAPE LLC 4000 Garden City Dr. Suite 803 Hyattsville, Maryland 20785 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services. The object of this sole source award is to have the vendor Cloudshape provide services for the design, implementation, and ongoing operational support of a Microsoft Azure public cloud-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) pilot system. CloudShape is uniquely qualified to manage the migration of FWS�s on-premises Citrix VDI to Azure VDI due to their extensive experience and specialized expertise. With a proven track record of optimizing Citrix VDI environments for government agencies like FWS, CloudShape's team includes certified professionals who possess a deep understanding of both Citrix and Azure VDI deployments. This ensures a seamless transition and continued operational efficiency. CloudShape�s extensive work in designing solutions that meet the unique needs of FWS and obtaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for its DaaS solution demonstrates their unmatched capability. Furthermore, their proprietary tools automate various aspects of the migration process, providing significant advantages in efficiency and reliability. These custom tools, along with their real-time monitoring and automated remediation capabilities, ensure optimal performance post-migration, safeguarding sensitive data and adhering to stringent federal security and compliance requirements, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
