Description
Page 1 of 3 STATEMENT OF WORK A. Scope. This is to establish a method of maintaining two separate freshwater fish tanks located in the Biloxi Community Living Center (CLC). The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to maintain both aquariums at the Biloxi CLC. 1. Contract period shall be from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025 plus 4 option years up to September 30, 2029. 2. The Contractor shall clean both tanks bi-weekly by vacuuming the gravel, completing partical water changes, and cleaning the glass. 3. The Contractor shall change the filter to both tanks and ensure that the filter is working properly during each change. 4. All equipment used and stored, all materials used and stored, and all removal methods used to clean the fish tanks shall be done in such a manner as to not cause damage to property, equipment, or décor located on Rio Grande and Yellowstone. 5. Water that is syphoned from the tanks shall be disposed of in the bathroom sink during each water change. The sink will be cleaned with VA issued cleaners. 6. The Contractor will clean the glass of the tank following the water change. 7. The Contractor will remove any perished fish and replace with same fish species or similar fish species. The Contractor will ensure that the replacement fish costs remain within established budget for replacement fish. 8. The Contractor will remove any damaged or faded plants and replace with similar plants as necessary. The Contractor will ensure the replacement plants remain within established budget for replacement plants. 9. The Contractor will replace aquatic bulbs when they no longer function. 10. The Contractor will fill automatic food feeder with appropriate amount of food after water changes. 11. The Contractor will replenish any parts necessary to maintain each fish tank (i.e. pumps, heaters). B. Delivery.
