POINT OF CONTACT: Ashley Warcewicz, Contract Specialist, Ashley_Warcewicz@nps.gov PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Otter Creek Campground (Big Island, VA) (Milepost 60.8) and the Julian Price Campground (Blowing Rock, NC) (Milepost 297) of the Blue Ridge Parkway Title of Project: Blue Ridge Parkway Rehabilitate Campgrounds - Otter Creek Campground and Julian Price Campground Description: This project consists of rehabilitating accessible campground sites to meet Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) guidelines and non-accessible campground sites in the Otter Creek Campground (Big Island, VA) (Milepost 60.8) and the Julian Price Campground (Blowing Rock, NC) (Milepost 297) of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The work of this project involves removing existing campground site amenities, demolishing existing asphalt/concrete, regrading campground sites, placing new concrete surface at accessible campground sites and on accessible paths and walks, and installing new campground site amenities. The contractor will purchase the appropriate concrete tables, fire rings, and tent pad materials that meet the specifications, and the contractor will fabricate appropriate wood seats for the concrete picnic tables. GENERAL: The solicitation will be issued electronically on the website at https://www.sam.gov/. Proposal documents will be available for download in Microsoft Word, HTML, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF; Specifications will be available in Adobe PDF format; and drawings will be available in PDF format.
