- This Market Survey is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes only. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING, NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.� The Federal Aviation Administration, Eastern Service Area, is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to gain understanding of the current marketplace and to identify responsible, capable sources. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set this requirement aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses.� This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1 for the purpose of soliciting statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors.� This survey will be utilized for acquisition planning, as well as to determine if there are any responsible small disadvantages businesses capable of meeting requirements of this project. Again, all responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only.� This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind.� The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals at this time; proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted in response to this survey. The Federal Aviation Administration has an upcoming requirement to procure BIL Funded Materials required to Replace an Electrical Distribution System located at the San Juan CERAP � FMP Yard, Carolina, PR 00979. Requirement details and equipment is outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This request is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed-Priced contract. The purpose of this Survey is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of� Small Disadvantaged Businesses, specifically for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) 8(a) Certified Vendors, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and/or Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).
