- Description
- The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Cape Cod National Seashore in Wellfleet, MA. Work will consist of completing repairs to the road, bike lanes and roadsides along Moors Road in Provincetown, due to excessive high tides during the winter months. Replace asphalt, processed stone, rip rap and re-paint bike lanes and sharrow. A detailed Statement of Work and specifications will be provided with final solicitation documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P4324R0029. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued on or about 07/12/2024 and will be posted to the U.S. government�s website for contracting opportunities at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Barnstable County, Massachusetts will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, and the size standard is $45.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
