- Questions and Answers Q: For Requirement A, please confirm what will be stored on the racks.� If applicable, make note of any specific hazardous materials and/or high pile storage requirements. A: Various excess equipment.� No specific hazardous material or high pile storage requirements known. Q: For Requirement B, section 8.14 on page 57 notes that the space will be used to store lead-based materials.� Please provide specific product information and make note of any specific hazardous materials and/or high pile storage requirements. A: The hazardous material will be lead storage Lead will either be encased in hurculite or stored in wood crates. No high pile storage will be required. Q: For Requirement B, the room schedule notes the requirement for a ground level loading dock.� A loading dock describes a depressed area at the exterior of a building for loading.� Please confirm if the loading bay of Requirement B is to be flush with the interior of the building (loading bay) or depressed (loading dock) A: Please provide loading bay. Q: For Requirement A, the room schedule notes that there is no elevated loading dock required and goes further to note that the warehouse floor must all be on ground level.� Please confirm if a recessed loading dock is acceptable for Requirement A or if the loading bay area is to be level with the warehouse interior. A: Loading bay level with warehouse interior. Q: Section 4.11 calls out the requirement for the warehouse space(s) to contain a forklift and truck accessible loading dock; however, the room schedules for Requirement A and B specifically note that loading docks are not required and/or the warehouse space is to be flush with grade.� Please confirm �which requirement is accurate: Section 4.11 or the room schedule. A: Loading dock is required for Requirement C. Requirements A & B request loading bay.� Attachment A Room Schedule is controlling. Q: For Requirement A, the room schedule notes the requirement for 5,000sf of paved area outside of the building for parking and truck loading.� Does the paved area need to be immediately adjacent to the interior warehouse space or can it be remote from the warehouse interior if provided on the same site?� Does this paved area need to be fenced and secured? A: Need to be adjacent to building for loading/unloading purposes.� Will need to be fenced and secured. Please see Amendment Two (2). Q: Are there any requirements for separation of site traffic flow, lay down space, or paved areas serving a warehouse space when there are multiple tenants on the same site? A: No separation necessary for site traffic flow.� Laydown/storage space will need to be segregated. Q: Section 6.5 on page 38 notes that separate restrooms are to be provided for male and female.� Are gender neutral facilities acceptable in lieu of gendered restrooms? A: No for Requirements B and C, yes, for Requirement A (see Amendment Two (2)) Q: Section 6.5 on page 38 notes that restroom facilities shall be loaded so that employees will not be required to travel more than 200 feet on one floor to reach toilets.� Does this provision apply to warehouse spaces? A: No Q: Section 6.9 on page 41 notes that ventilation shall be provided to buildings.� Does this provision apply to warehouse spaces outside of other ANSI/ASHRAE requirements? A: No Q: For Requirement B, the room schedule notes that the cubicle and break room areas are included in the warehouse area of 12,500sf; however, the cubicle and break room areas are also tabulated to suggest a total requirement of 12,828sf.� Please confirm which area should be utilized. A: Either number would be acceptable to the government in alignment with Section 1.1 Section A paragraph 3. Q: For Requirement B, the room schedule notes that the break room shall be ""space size to accommodate people at all times"".� The room schedule further notes that the warehouse area is to provide for a minimum 17 occupants when sizing the restroom.� Should the break room also be sized appropriately (more than 200sf) to accommodate the minimum 17 occupants simultaneously? A: 200 SF will be sufficient for the government�s purposes. Q: For Requirement A, what is the largest expected truck size (length, width, turning radius)? A: Largest truck would be a standard semi with a 53� flat deck trailer.� Industry standard 70� long, 8.5� wide, min turning radius 40-50� Q: For Requirement B, what is the largest expected truck size (length, width, turning radius)? A: Largest truck would be a standard semi with a 53� flat deck trailer.� Industry standard 70� long, 8.5� wide, min turning radius 40-50� Q: What are the HVAC temperature requirements for WH space? A: Please see Section 6.8. Q: Are you expecting acknowledgement of the SFO and all attachments to be initialed pages that are submitted with the SFO as accommodating Part A, Section 6? A: Yes The Department of the Navy seeks to award a one-year lease, with nine (9) one-year renewal options near Bremerton, Washington. This SFO is offered to address three separate space requirements. Requirement A is for approximately 60,000, Requirement B is for approximately 12,828, and Requirement C is for approximately 213,966 (206,910 for Outdoor Fenced Laydown Yard and 7,056 for Building) American National Standards Institute/Building Owners and Managers Association (ANSI/BOMA) square feet of warehouse space. A single offeror may submit an offer to accommodate one, two, or all three requirements.
