Description

Resurface Realign Bottomland Trail, TAPR The purpose of this amendment (0001) is to post the site visit roster and answer questions asked during the site visit. The Site Visit Roster may be found with the other project documents. The Two questions and answers follow below: Q1: What to do with the reroute spoils? Where can they be hauled to? A: The park will take that material it will be hauled to the Pole Barn less than a .25 mile from the construction site. Q2: Location of equipment and material storage? A: The Bottomland Trail parking area will be the area for all contractor materials and equipment storage. Please keep all materials on the gravel area and smooth and grade out gravel lot at the end of the contract. Do not spread out in the grassland field. The park will announce a closure for the trail before contact start date. Recommend that contractor provide a hard closure for the Bottomland trail entrance and be able to lock the area when contractors are not on site. Be prepared that visitor and local residence may still want to try to access the trail. Reminder: To allow enough time to coordinate the posting of additional questions and answers, questions must be received no later than five (5) calendar days following the organized site visit to be considered. All amendments must be acknowledged by the time of bid submission.
