- GENERAL STATEMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. Requirement: Moody AFB CDDAR Program is in need of C-130 crashed aircraft recovery items via pneumatic lifting bags, to recover and lift aircraft when damaged or crashed. Pneumatic lifting bag kits are required to lift a C-130 with a minimum of 4 lifting positions (right wing, left wing, forward fuselage and aft fuselage). Due to all possible terrain conditions, separated modular lift bag(s) must be deflatable to minuscule sizes and able slide under aircraft at limiting heights. Excluding the 1 kit already possessed, we are in need of the other 3 kits to perform these lifting functions. The aircraft recovery lift weight to perform these functions is 120,000 pounds. Moody AFB is already in possession of these items: -1 kit consisting of modular type 26 ton pneumatic lifting bag, hoses for current bag, 4 protective pads for 2 above and 2 below pneumatic lifting bag, and repair kit consisting of materials necessary to patch damaged areas of the pneumatic modules. -All Control Consoles P/N 9316-010 required. -All Cribbing. Each Kit must include: -1 pneumatic lifting bag -All required hoses to match number of lifting bag connections (not to exceed 15 per bag) -4 protective pads, for 2 above and 2 below the lift bags -1 repair kit consisting of materials necessary to patch damaged areas of the pneumatic modules. Items requirements: -Pneumatic Lifting Bag must have 15 or less hose connections -Pneumatic Lifting Bag must be modular in build so they can be stacked or separated. -Pneumatic Lifting Bag (individual or stacked) must lift minimum of 24 inches and maximum 120 inches -All hoses must have the capability of connecting the Pneumatic Lifting Bag to Control Console P/N 9316-010. -[""Part #: FM5305 NSN: 4730-00-404-7179 Title/Name:FM5305 by ZSi-Foster | Quick Disconnect | 1-Way Automatic Socket | 1/2"" MPT | Brass""] is the quick disconnect that is required to attach to Control Console P/N 9316-010. An alternate quick disconnect is acceptable as long as it connects to console seamlessly. -All hoses must be minimum of 50 feet with quick disconnects on each end. -Protective pads must be of material that protects against sharp or protruding environments. -Pneumatic lifting bags must contain relief valves that are actuated to vent excess pressure to the atmosphere if pressure rises above 10 psi. All vendors must provide a capability statement with item specifications included for technical review.
