- 12 June 2024 The briefing slides and post symposium summary are attached. Synopsis:� The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Source Selection Support Center of Excellence (S3CoE) will host its FY 24 4th virtual symposium entitled, ACC APG S3CoE Hot Topics on Wednesday, 12 June 2024, from 9:00-10:30 am Eastern Time (ET) online via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of the symposium is to discuss a few competitive best value acquisition hot topics. This no-cost event is open to industry and government. Agenda Welcome Panelist introductions Small business participation vs. subcontracting plans, SB evaluation trends and SB post award challenges Property Management plans and contractor acquired property Source selection streamlining methods (oral presentations-revisited, highest technically rated offeror, performance price tradeoff) Audience chat questions and answers Closing remarks Please send ACC APG S3CoE Hot Topics Symposium questions no later than 22 May 2024. The RSVP deadline date to attend the symposium is 5 June 2024. Please send questions and RSVP requests to the ACC APG S3CoE email address usarmy.apg.acc.mbx.acc-apg-s3coe@army.mil The Microsoft Teams live event symposium link with instructions will be sent to registrants on 6 June 2024 no later than 10:00 am ET. Post symposium information: The symposium slides, outstanding audience chat questions and answers with the post symposium summary will be posted on SAM.gov no later than 19 June 2024 (a recording will not be available). This announcement is in accordance with FAR 15.201 and does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. The symposium presentation is intended to provide information to industry and government without the promise of a current or future contract. Attendance is voluntary and is not required to propose to any potential solicitation. The government will not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred to participate in this event as a panel or audience member.
