Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for�Leeds Microscope Preventative Maintenance. Proposed Contractor: Leeds Precision Instruments, Inc. 17300 Medina Road, Suite 600 Minneapolis, MN 55447 UEID: NE8MDHSYKHZ8 CAGE: 3BDR4 The authority used for the sole source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The intended period of performance is a base year with four (4) option years. Base Year: 08/01/2024-07/31/2025 Option year 1: 08/01/2025-07/31/2026 Option year 2: 08/01/2026-07/31/2027 Option year 3: 08/01/2027-07/31/2028 Option year 4: 08/01/2028-07/31/2029 This announcement constitutes the only notification of the ATF�s intent to solicit on a sole source basis.� A formal combined synopsis/solicitation will not occur.� All solicitation communication will occur directly with the proposed contractor. This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13�Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Items.� It is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The notice of award and the written sole source justification will be posted after award.
