This procurement action is for the acquisition of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts for BEP Press equipment used for currency manufacturing. There are no other sources that are capable of supplying the required OEM spare parts other than Buhler Group. �BEP does not possess the required capabilities in terms of labor, machinery or materials to manufacture these spare parts . Therefore, the Government has determined that this procurement can only be acquired from the original manufacturer contractor, Buhler Group. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to sole-source this requirement and award to Buhler Group. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 333248, All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. If you feel that your firm can provide all spare parts listed above, please submit a capability statement by 4:00PM EDT, 05 July 2024, EDT. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
