- Description
- FPS has a requirement to acquire armed guard PSO services throughout Southern New Jersey. The armed PSOs will protect federal personnel and property at federally owned and leased buildings. The contractor shall provie all labor, material, management, supervision, training, licenses, and permits to provide the services in accordance with the SOW. The Period of Perforamnce is for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item/service in accordance with FAR Part 12. Services shall be furnished via an IDIQ contract with fixed hourly rates. This requirement is being issued as a 100% small business set aisde. Resultant task orders under this contract will be firm fixed prices. The source slection process to be utilized for this acquisition is best value/trade-off. The technical, non-price factors, when combined, are more important than price. The estimated PSO hours for various locations throughout the state of NJ are 87,015 hours per year. The submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be defined in the solicitation. The NAICS code is 561612 with Small Business size standard is $29MM. The contractor is required to register with the SAM at http://SAM.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that is not reigstered or in the proces sof registereing with SAM.� A Pre-proposal conference will be conducted on Microsoft Teams on June 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM ET. All interested parties are invited to attend a briefing of this procurement. The briefing will cover items as the evaluation criteria, technical factors, post exhibit, pricing, teaming arrrangements, etc. Attendance is not mandatory however it is strongly recommended. Contractors wishing to attend the conference should email: Ryan Fitzpatrick (ryan.t.fitzpatrick@fps.dhs.gov) & Melissa Stolle (melissa.stolle@fps.dhs.gov) no later than June 24, 2024 at 3PM ET.� The request shall include company information, such as the company name, address, UEI #, business size designation (verify you are a small business under this NAICS), address, phone number, and email address of all the planned attendees. An invite to the meeting with be provided once all attendee information has been recieved after 3PM on June 24, 2024. This conference will be 100% virtual and there will be no dial-in provided for this conference.
