Description
QUESTION : Specifically, how many days and how many maintenance/applications technicians does the PIH Center (IHS/PHX) envision needing staff training on this effort? ANSWER: PIMC has two MRI Technologists (contractors) that will operate the unit. They will need at least 5 days of training M-F from 8 am to 4 pm. PIMC has three IT (Vista Specialists and PACS Specialists) that will assist with connectivity. They will not access the contractor computer equipment but will be available to assist the contractor to address initial connectivity from MRI to EHR/RPMS/PACS. They will not need training. QUESTIONS THAT WERE ASKED THAT RESULTED IN AMENDED PWS AND SF1449: The solicitation mentions including the cost of training in our monthly quote. Could you please specify how many training sessions are required each month? Regarding the provision of a Nonferrous Oxygen Cylinder, are we responsible for refilling the cylinders, or do we just need to supply them? In the instructions to offerors it states for Technical proposal, Factor 2, ""All images must be submitted with patient weight, age, and sex. Images are to be submitted on a CD in DICOM format with quote."" ( SF1449 has been amended of how to provide) After reviewing the PWS and pertinent information, we are seeking clarification regarding the responsibilities associated with the solicitation such as waste removal and staffing within the designated unit. Specifically, are these tasks managed internally by the hospital or outsourced to third-party entities, with the solicitation focusing solely on the unit itself? Our question stems from prior experiences where consolidating all operational components under one entity facilitated seamless management. Is this contract staffed or unstaffed with MRI techs? As it is a new requirement, what are the staffing needs? Will a Russel Stohl power receptor suffice for your facility? ****************************************************************************************************************************************** EXTENDING THE DUE DATE TO 18 JUNE 2024, REVISED PWS ISSUED DUE TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTED. This is a COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS for commercial items/service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
