Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government currently intends to award a service contract to Support William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) with their requirement to provide Censitrac software subscription and maintenance support. The software is an instrumentTrac software that provides surgical instrument tracking and management. The Central Material Services (SPD) uses the system software to track the location and condition of surgical instruments and instrument sets as they are utilized by staff from the operating room to the sterilization area. The software provides data for benchmarking, continuous process improvement and root cause analysis.� The software allows for tracking, monitoring, and reporting of sterilized surgical equipment. The current Censitrac software curretnly operates 24/7/365. �Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all small socioeconomic category to participate if able. The proposed sole source action is for Firm Fixed Price contract with Time and Materials line item for repairs. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13.106(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization; no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this source sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a competitive solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry, if applicable. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Government wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The NAICS code is: 513210 Software Publishers. The Product Service Code is Q523. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. In addition to the software subscription, the contractor shall be responsible for providing support for the Censitrac/InstrumenTrac software. 1.User software training - Every 6 months with up to 20 users trained within the 1st 6-month period. Thereafter, every 6 months with up to 30 users trained. 2.echnical Support (telephone, onsite, and remote) 3.Software Support/Upgrades �In the response to this source sought, please provide the following information: Organizations name, address, email address, website address, business size and type of ownership for the organization; and tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this requirement, with appropriate documentation supporting Karl Storz certificates of training. �Technicians should have minimum of two years of experience working on Karl Storz equipment.
