Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service, Southeastern Fruit and Tree Nut Research Laboratory (SEFTNRL), located in Byron, GA., has a requirement to renovate 15 laboratories that will ultimately standardize and enhance research capabilities (depending on the availability of funds).� The work includes but is not limited to:� The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, professional services, and supervision necessary to renovate 4 laboratories with options to renovate 11 additional laboratories. �The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and cost breakdown for the entire project. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). �The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about June 23, 2024.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
