- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.� THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE.� THE INTENT IS TO NOTIFY THE PUBLIC THAT A SOLICITATION IS FORTH COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE.�� SCOPE OF WORK (SOW): PURPOSE: The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Rock Island District (RID), Illinois Waterway Project (ILWW) requires the dry dock and inspection of Motor Vessel (MV) Creve Coeur with option to repair to ensure the MV is operating as intended, per applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards prior to being placed back in operation. SPECIFICATIONS: TIMELINE - All inspections and authorized repairs shall be completed within 4-months after receipt of order (ARO); KTR timeline: 01 July to 01 November 2024. OTHER INFORMATION - USACE will deliver and pickup from the KTR�s dry dock facility, but requests the cost of picking up and dropping off� Shall have the knowledge, skill, and ability to inspect and make repairs to all MV systems and components. The contractor shall provide dry dock facility, power to MV while at the facility, prepare the MV for dry dock in coordination with USACE, vessel and personnel safety while at KTR�s facility, all personnel, equipment, tools, subcontractors, vessel access during dry dock status and while at KTR facility, Inspection reports, proposals for current and future corrective actions, hot work certification, disposal of all materials unless USACE would like to keep in possession, coordination with USACE and the USCG. INSPECTIONS - Contractor (KTR) shall provide, through coordination with the USCG MSU Chicago, a USCG COI creditable documented inspection during the vessels dry dock status per 46 CFR sub chapter M. The MV shall be prepped by the dry dock facility for the USACE COI credibility inspection. The KTR shall supply a proposal which includes supplies and part lead times and the timeline to correct USCG and USACE reported deficiencies that require correction prior to placing back in operation. Fuel and lube oil pumps Starboard pushing knee Items not listed and discovered during dry dock inspection or during authorized repair. Repairs are only authorized through a USACE Contracting Officer. VESSEL DESCRIPTION: 77� Inland River Towboat Hull: 476 Year of Manufacture: 1998 (2) each main engine (2) each main generator (2) each gear (transmission) (2) each hydraulic steering sections (2) each bilge area (2) each shaft alley (1) each waste oil - high level monitoring. (1) Each Pilothouse Note: Pilothouse lowers by 10� to clear bridges and then raises by 10� during normal operations.
