Description: PURPOSE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE}, Nashville District (LRN), is issuing an invitation for Bid (IFB), Firm Fixed Price Supply Contract for Lake Barkley Spillway Gate Chains Fabrication. Contractor will be required to fabricate all components necessary to replace all of Lake Barkley Dam Spillway Gate Chains. Contract will be for fabrication only, USACE personnel will perform installation of the lifting chains at a later date. Each lifting chain is made up of around 1,000 metallic components in various quantities of chains, pins, collars, washers, etc.
