- 531-22-108 Expand Pharmacy Boise VA Medical Center 500 West Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702 Procurement Number: 36C26024R0044 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. An invitation for Request for Proposals (RFP) is anticipated to be posted no later than June 18, 2024. The VA Medical Center located in Boise, ID, has a requirement for a Firmed Fixed Price construction project that requires a general contractor to renovate approximately 3,600 SF of interior space. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, quality control, and supervision necessary to renovate and expand the existing pharmacy. Project will be phased to allow the existing pharmacy to operate with little to no down time. Renovation work includes the following work, but is not limited to: demolition, structural, creation of new wall systems, the addition of new roof top HVAC units, flooring, painting, ceiling systems, architectural finish work, mill work, extensive mechanical (HVAC and hydronic), mechanical systems digital control, plumbing, medical gas, fire proofing, electrical, telecommunications, security, fire alarm, and fire protection sprinkler work. Refer to the drawings and specifications for details on the extent of construction. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $45 million. The solicitation is being issued in the best value continuum described in FAR Part 15.101. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
