THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.�� This is not a Request for Proposal.� This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.� This is strictly market research to determine availability and adequacy of potential sources with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work.� The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement.� Request for solicitation will not receive a response. The General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region (Region 5), has a verified need to: The contractor shall be able to provide all equipment, material, labor and supervision required to perform the herein after specified work at: Urbana U.S. Courthouse, 201 South Vine Street, Urbana, IL 61802. Base Bid Work: Repair concrete and resurface steps, including upper and lower landings, as indicated on the Drawings labeled ""base bid"". Work involves repairing failing concrete, installing new control/expansion joints, complete removal of existing surface coating from entire stair assembly (risers and treads), and skim-coating the entire assembly. Option No. 1: Repair concrete and resurface concrete at the plaza, as indicated on the Drawings labeled ""Option 1"". Work involves repairing failing concrete, installing new control/expansion joints, complete removal of existing surface coating from the entire plaza, and skim-coating the entire area. Option No. 2: Repair concrete and resurface concrete at the lower sidewalk, as indicated on the Drawings labeled ""Option 2"". Work involves repairing failing concrete, installing new control/expansion joints, complete removal of existing surface coating from the entire lower sidewalk, and skim-coating the entire area. Contract Period of Performance: 14 calendar days from on-site notice to proceed (for base bid work), with increased performance period if option work is awarded. The construction cost is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000.� The anticipated award date is before September 1, 2024.� The anticipated NAICS code is 23811. Contractors interested in quoting on this project are welcomed to provide a more appropriate NAICS code if they believe a different code better aligns with the specific services required for concrete repair, resurfacing, and related activities described in the requirement summary. If you are an interested party, please provide the following information.� All information submitted will be subject to verification and additional information may be requested to substantiate responses: A short statement regarding your business� expertise and experience on projects similar in scope and size. Are you a small or large business? If small business, indicate any and all applicable small business representation(s) (8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Women-Owned, etc.) Are you currently holding any type of Federal Supply Schedule contract, such as a GSA Schedule? Do you have bonding capability to cover 100% of the construction cost? Include three projects completed within the last five years similar in size and scope to the work described above.� Provide a customer point of contact for each project listed (telephone and email address) Do you have experience working in a historic or government building for similar size and scope described above? If yes, please explain and provide a customer point of contact (telephone and email address) Indicate your intent to quote on a subsequent solicitation.
